BURSAR OFFICER
Major Responsibilities: Responsible
for the billing, receivables, and cashier functions of the campus. Follow up, collect and post all active, graduates,
and drop student’s monthly payments. Update and maintain student’s ledgers
with the appropriate pending balances.
Reports To: Campus
Dean
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read,
understand and comply with the College’s mission, the catalog, the
College’s policies and procedures, the Staff Handbook and
institutional effectiveness process.
- Follow-up,
collect and post monthly payments due from students and ensure payment
schedule is met.
- Notify
all active students of any late payments and any late payment charges
incurred and ensure collection of funds.
- Make
adjustments to payment schedule according to established procedures,
and notify students whenever necessary.
- Make
any additions, adjustments, and/or corrections to student’s ledger
when appropriate.
- Communicate
and inform the College Collection Officer of any non-attending
students that have pending payments when contact with student has not
been successful.
- Coordinate
and work with College Collection Officer regarding student accounts
that are payment delinquent or have been sent to collection agency.
- Provide
appropriate information immediately to College Collection Officer when
student payments are collected on accounts already referred to
collection agency.
- Charges
the amount that students owe for all seminars, certification, etc. and
posts the payments to student’s ledgers.
- Participate
in the self studies and committees conducted by the college.
- Responds
to communications (email/voicemail) on a daily basis.
- Performs
other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (PTA) PROGRAM DIRECTOR
FNC in order to expand the
career options is planning to start offering Physical Therapy Assistant
(PTA) program. In order to be in compliance with the Commission on
Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), FNC needs to hire a
qualified individual to perform as Director for its PTA program.
Job Description
The PTA program director will be responsible for:

Developing the self-study to be presented
to CAPTE in order to obtain programmatic accreditation; understands the CAPTE accreditation standards and apply them to
the program to ensure its approval, while maintaining compliance with State
regulations.
- Ensuring that the
program is in compliance with CAPTE standards.
- Performing
instructional duties as assigned as outlined in the Faculty job
description and in accordance with the provisions of FNC’s Faculty and
Employee Handbook.
- Selecting and
develop Program Advisory Board.
- Participating in
faculty development as required.
- Selecting, trains,
develops, manages, and leads regular and adjunct faculty according to
the guidelines provided by the Allied Health Division Head and the VP
of Academic Affairs, and in accordance with FNC’s policies and
procedures.
- Effectively
administering and grows the assigned academic program including
curriculum development, student registration/advisement, community
relations and campus relations.
- Supporting college
programs designed to achieve student completion rates as outlined in
the five year strategic plan.
- Collaborating with
other Academic Program Directors within own school and across schools
and with the Allied Health Division Head: scheduling, sharing faculty,
curriculum and other.
- Contributing to
client relations and community education activities
- Other
responsibilities as determined by the Allied Health Division Head and
the VP of Academic Affairs.
Requirements
The PTA Program Director:

Must be a licensed physical therapist
·
Licensed in the state of Florida
·
Hold a Master degree
·
Experience in the field (clinical
Practice)
·
Experience in education (didactic and/or
clinical, curricular design, develop, implementation and evaluation,
instructional design and methodology, and student evaluation and outcomes
assessment experience.)

Procurement Manager
Job Title: Procurement Manager
Work Hours: Full Time
Location of Job: Hialeah, FL
Education/Experience:
Bachelor Degree required; preference given
to degrees in Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
Minimum of three years relevant work experience in: Great Plains Asset
Management, GP Purchase Orders, budgeting, inventory, strategic sourcing
and contract negotiations.
Professional certification: Institute for Supply Management (ISM) or active
participation in a professional purchasing related organization preferred.
Duties
include:
Purchasing,
returns, inventory & invoice mgt. strong negotiating,
computer, communication and organizational skills required.
Required Skills:
This
individual will lead, develop and coordinate sourcing and negotiation
activities.
Drafts and manages the Request For Proposals (RFX) process for complex
projects and purchases.
Analyzes and evaluates bids and quotes for pricing, quality, and service
levels from competing suppliers.
Negotiates and drafts or modifies standard and non-standard contract
language to achieve positive terms and competitive cost structures with
suppliers.
Independently creates custom reports and utilizes company/vendor reports to
recommend spend/saving activities, vendor management/consolidation,
activities that will drive the department to best practices.
Research, analyze, evaluate, and make decisions regarding sourcing
strategies relevant to the assigned portfolio and category:
Determine sourcing options and supply alternatives.
Evaluate procurement patterns and forecast trends.
Coordinate and control expense:
Establish and implement sourcing programs to achieve maximum Total Cost of
Ownership (TCO) benefits for the organization.
Working collaboratively with the VP of Operations, Campus Deans and Accounting, develop savings calculation and validation
methodologies for strategic sourcing projects while tracking and reporting
savings/benefits.
Provide
rigorous analysis to sourcing and feasibility initiatives such as:
*Financial modeling for bid analysis
*Cost savings methodologies
*Lease vs. buy models
*Total Cost Ownership (TCO) analysis
Excellent people skills
Provide concise documentation that clearly shows
quantity, price and description of quoted items.
Communicate:
Effectively
communicate the impact of sourcing decisions to management and employees as
appropriate.
Manage the life cycle of RFX processes, and communicate to suppliers,
business units and project teams.
Strong analytical, business process analysis and problem solving
capabilities.
Effective time management and organizational skills (develop and execute
project plans).
Able to manage multiple projects with
ease.
Comfortable working autonomously, must be a self-directed individual.
Strong communicator (both oral and written)
